“Every case is personal. We fight not just to win, but to secure outcomes that protect what matters most to our clients — their businesses, their rights, and their futures.”
Chris has over a decade of experience litigating high-stakes disputes, including bet-the-company arbitrations and class actions. He developed most of that experience as a commercial litigator at a top-10 Am Law 100 firm.
Companies and individuals in various industries, such as financial services, real estate, manufacturing, and insurance, have trusted Chris to handle their most complex and important cases. Chris has helped them achieve significant victories in tribunals across Florida. For example, in the American Arbitration Association, Chris recently prevailed after a 9-day final arbitration hearing in a dispute over the redemption of common stock and counterclaims seeking a forced buyout at almost double the contractually agreed redemption price. In the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Chris helped a client obtain summary judgment in a multi-million dollar class action relating to the validity of an auto insurance product, which the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit affirmed on appeal.
Chris has litigated contract disputes, shareholder and member disputes, joint venture disputes, real estate and construction disputes, employment disputes, intellectual property disputes, UCC lien disputes, product liability disputes, insurance disputes, antitrust disputes, and pension disputes. Much of that litigation involved class actions, including in relation to a cost-of-living adjustment to pension benefits, construction defects in a planned community, and the non-payment of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) agent fees. His undergraduate degree in finance makes him particularly effective in cases involving complex financial concepts.
